CLUB MARRIOTT MESSAGE TO ALL POOL USERS

We are saddened to report that the Club Marriott pool has been soiled twice within the last 10 days and we have to emphasise that all parents/guardians must be proactive in supervising their children and follow the guidelines;
  • Ensure children are taking regular toilet breaks
  • Ensure young children and incontinent swimmers are wearing a tight fitting, waterproof swim nappy (normal nappies are not appropriate)
  • Do not swim if you have been unwell, or have had any symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, or gastric upset in the previous 14 days (even if you are well now)
After every incident, to keep our pool clean and healthy, Club Management must undertake the following processes for the health and safety of all Marriott Waters Resident Pool users;
  1. Closure to the pool areas for 24 – 36 hours
  2. Removal of the faecal matter as possible
  3. Backwashing of all filters
  4. Hyperchlorination of pool water
  5. Professional cleaning
  6. Cancellation of all swimming lessons during the closure period
  7. Performing and recording regular pool testing throughout the closure
  8. Communicate to residents of pool closure to as many platforms currently available
We ask all residents to please, do the right thing as it is your duty of care for the health and safety of fellow Club Members.
